About
‘Being a Kerryman, in my opinion, is the greatest gift that God can bestow on any man. In belonging to Kerry, you belong to the elements, to the spheres spinning in the heavens. You belong to History and Language and Romance and Ancient Song’. (Playwright John B. Keane)

My Story
As a West Cork native who moved to Kenmare in 1987 to work for a summer in Quills Woollen Market , I can without hesitation identify entirely with John B Keane. That is why I never left. In belonging to Kerry we do belong to the elements and every day I go for a drive or a walk I see a little bit of heaven all around me.
Working in Quills Woollen Market Kenmare for more than 30 years has given me an appreciation for the supreme level of quality and craftsmanship of woollens manufactured exclusively in Ireland. Almost all Irish manufacturing companies are multigenerational family businesses who are committed to the longevity and continued success of their Legacy. They pride themselves in their craftsmanship and I am proud to be afforded the opportunity to offer you a taste of their exquisite luxury Irish products.
I hope you will take pleasure in browsing through my display of Blankets, Scarves, our beloved Aran Sweaters, and Irish wool Knitwear produced in colours of a nature-inspired palette that will withstand the test of time. Where-ever you may be in the world, quality speaks for itself. These products have retained all the heritage of years past, together with the tradition and quality which characterised those years.
Wrap Ireland around you in Irish Rose Woollens.
Le Ghrá,
Rosemarie Quill
